I raced slot cars when I was in junior high. My mom knew I loved model cars and race cars and took me to a shop and set me up with a car and a controller. I managed to free myself of this nasty hobby until 2009. My mechanical mentor Don Bootes' addiction for slot cars flared up and he drug me out to the local track. What you will see on this page is a direct result of the revisit to the sport. I built this HO track for the middle school I worked at briefly from 2009-2011. We try to wreck out marriage with it occasionally. On November 2, 2022, I made my first round return to slot car racing after five years away against Eugene Gray. I lost, but jaws dropped at the track.
